Thanks Stu Chisholm, I completely agree with you. People sometimes feel completely paralyzed around talking to their kids about sex and they avoid it like the plague — but we really do must make an effort. I think the “fake it till you make it” approach is very wise, although I would also suggest explaining to your kids that you are still practicing, because kids will most probably depict it that underneath your “cool” appearance, you feel uneasy, which might make the entire topic of sex awkward. Being honest with your children, letting them know that you are working on your old conditioning because you know it is a hindrance is important in that case.
